Finding the right job can be tough but finding the right career can be a nightmare and so before you embark on this journey I have tracked down some of the leaders in Assessment tools to support you in finding out “Where you may want to go” which to start is to seek to understand ones temperament of one’s own “observable personality traits, such as habits of communication, patterns of action, and sets of characteristic attitudes, values, and talents” which one can by clicking the  Keirsey Temperament Sorter. Pairing this with the use of the 16 Personalities one can hopefully begin to understand how they feel about certain jobs, certain actions and behaviors and understand their personality a bit more.

Once you have done the above using tools such as the O*NET Interests Profiler can help you find out what your interests are and then to help you hone in on your interest level you can use the Holland Code Career Test (If you use this using the 123 Career Test may be best) To measure your interest in different fields. Once this is done utilizing Red Bull Wingfinder you can find out what your strengths are. Once you have done the above there are three different types that are likely able to support you the most which is the  Skills Matcher or MAPP  which will support you in find specific career paths. One of my favorites is the Sokanu career test which “is a comprehensive interest, personality, and preference assessment that measures you against over 140 traits and uses that data to accurately match you to over 800 careers.” This tool offers four different dimensions of “fit” and if you will find this career interesting.
